Understanding what kinds of browsers people use to visit our site is important for quality of service.  We want to make sure our site is working properly for our users.  To that end, we will occasionally be collecting the “user-agent” string passed to our servers by visiting web clients.  This information will be stored separately from any other identifying information (such as IP addresses).
