Computing without Revealing: A Cryptographic Approach to eProcurement
Research Areas:
Cryptology and Rights Management
Principal Investigator: Mike Atallah
We propose the use of cryptographic protocols to enable eProcurement auctions where the procurer only learns the confidential information related to winning bidders. No confidential information about the losing bidders is revealed to anyone, including procurer, thereby encouraging truthful revelation and increasing the value for all participants involved.
