Abstract
One of the reasons we care about information security is protectingprivacy, and satisfying requirements of privacy law. But what
exactly is meant by privacy? Is security sufficient to provide
privacy? This talk looks at some background on data privacy,
and techniques for privacy protection including anonymity and
differential privacy.
