Introduction
Information Security continues to make the news, from White House reports, and 60 Minutes features, to global technology companies removing their services from specific countries. Infosec stories are now a mainstream media subject; yet what is really being done beyond “talking?” Problems continue to evolve and escalate while little is done to make fundamental changes to the security of computing and communications.
Join CERIAS – The Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security – as we examine developing technologies and research underway in academic, government and commercial labs. We’ll also discuss how the evolution of information security policies and research funding have both facilitated and hindered information security research.
Keynote speakers will include:
- Mike McConnell, Exec. VP, Booz Allen Hamilton; and immediate past U.S. Director of National Intelligence, past director of the NSA
We look forward to seeing you in March!
– Gene Spafford, Executive Director, CERIAS
