Biography
Alexandros (Alex) Psomas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. His research lies at the intersection of computer science and economics, applying computational tools and insights to study problems across various economic environments. His interests span algorithmic economics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational social choice, mechanism design, algorithmic game theory, and theoretical computer science more broadly. He is particularly drawn to projects that bridge theory and real-world applications, including collaborations with non-profit organizations such as 412 Food Rescue and the Indy Hunger Network.
