The Network & System Security Lab of the Department of Information and Software Engineering, George Mason University is seeking applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position in the area of network and system security. The applicant is expected to have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields with prior research experience in network and system security. (i.e. intrusion detection, attack attribution, privacy, anonymity). Candidates with strong background in computer system and networks are also encouraged to apply.

The initial appointment will be for one year starting immediately, with possible extension depending on performance and funding availability. Applicants can email their CV with a list of three references to Prof. Xinyuan Wang (xwangc at gmu.edu).

The Network & System Security Lab is actively involved in various research projects in computer and network security funded by National Science Foundation (NSF), U.S. Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), Advanced Research and Development Activity (ARDA) U.S. Army Research.

George Mason is located in Fairfax, Virginia with easy access to Washington DC and various Federal Agencies.
