The ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) has formally announced electing Professor Elisa Bertino into their Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award recognizing an individual’s exceptional qualities of leadership in their own career and organization as well as an exemplary commitment to the information security profession.

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members. It is one of the two pre-eminent professional organizations devoted solely to information security (the other being the (ISC)² ).
