Abstract
We propose an intrusion detection approach based on predefined attack scenarios
and using a genetic algorithm. This paper presents a simplified vision of the
security audit trail analysis problem and some experiments (on simulated users
and attacks) showing the validity of this approach. It proposes future work
for building a prototype usable in a real environment
