Abstract
In order to rate effectiveness of secure programming instruction, we must determine what students know before and after the instruction. To that end, this work starts on a concept inventory -- that is, a question bank for assessing students' knowledge. The question bank will develop as it is applied to student assessment and evaluated for accuracy. At time of presentation, this question bank will have been applied as pre-tests for instantiations of a secure programming clinic at three different institutions.
This project is part of the larger Secure Programming Clinic project, also a poster in this session.
