About The Program

The CERIAS Post-Secondary Education Program is one of the many initiatives CERIAS has undertaken to advance the state and practice of information assurance and security. CERIAS was founded with the intent of:
  1. Transferring information assurance and security expertise and technology to organizations with real world needs
  2. Enhancing the public's understanding and acceptance of information protection
The Post-Secondary Education Program will contribute significantly to fulfilling our role as a leading international center in information assurance and security.

Our Mission

The mission of the CERIAS Post-Secondary Education Program is to educate computer users in government, industry and the general population in state-of-the-art information assurance and security design and practice. To fulfill this mission, the CERIAS Post-Secondary Education Program is focusing on the following activities:

  • Design and deploy educational materials and methods for enhanced education in information security
  • Design and deploy continuing education for industry, government and the general population
  • Develop a premier collection of information security resources for education and community reference
