Presentation:
Keith Watson presented Countermeasures and Best Practices for Sophisticated IT/Large Organizations. This is a repeat presentation from the 2010 Indiana Cyber Security Conference held in Indianapolis on May 12, 2010.
Discussion Points:
Discussed future presentations. Mike Hill (assisted by Keith Watson) will present Developer Operational Best Practices for Security in June. Kitch Spicer and Doug Counch will present a high-level discussion on security tools for July. This talk will allow us to pick specific security tools for a deeper discussion for future meetings.
Keith Watson encouraged attendees to participate in a survey for a research study on investigating information security incidents and decisions in online environments. That survey is available at Fariborz Farahmand's web site
Keith Watson also mentioned the availability of videos from the Metasploit class held by the Kentuckiana ISSA on May 8th, 2010. Those videos are available at the Irongeek.com web site
