Discussion on World IPv6 Day (June 8):

We started the meeting with a discussion on World IPv6 Day, which occurred on the previous day. Overall, the news around the world was positive. Several articles were discussed about findings related to the one-day test of IPv6.

Workshop:

We spent the initial portion of the workshop establishing an autoconfigured IPv6 network with our laptops and two network switches. We then experimented in attacking nodes on the IPv6 network using the THC toolkit. All of the machine experienced noticeable issues. Other systems were quickly hosed and required reboots to clear the issue. The time spent on experimentation was valuable to the members.
