Presentation
Doug Couch and Keith Watson presented on some advanced features in Metasploit. (This is a continuation from November 2011's Introduction to Metasploit.) They talked about Resource Files, Auxiliary Modules, Port Scanning, and Meterpreter. The workshop included exercises in port scanning and hacking into Windows XP boxes to run Meterpreter.
Discussion Points:
- A potential speaker for March's meeting was discussed.
- On Friday, February 10, Preston, Mike, and Keith will be recording the first of hopefully many podcasts for the GLSP and CERIAS. They would appreciate feedback on the first episode.
Action Items:
- Submit topics for future meetings. Volunteer to present.
