CUPERTINO, Calif. - Oct. 29, 2003 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced its second fellowship at Purdue University
The Symantec Fellowship Program, established in the fall of 2002, will provide up to $50,000 to cover tuition costs and a stipend for a degree-seeking student enrolled at Purdue and working with CERIAS. For additional information about the Fellowship and how to apply, students should visit www.cerias.purdue.edu. The application deadline is set for Feb. 20, 2004. The recipient of the second Symantec Fellowship will be announced at the annual CERIAS Spring Symposium to be held March 23-24, 2004, on the West Lafayette, Ind., campus of Purdue University.
