Cisco Funds Two Cisco-CERIAS Scholarships

Cisco Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, announced last week that it has joined with the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) to award two scholarships to students studying information assurance or security at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Indiana.

The Cisco Scholarships will provide $5,000 cash gifts to one undergraduate and one graduate student enrolled at Purdue and working toward a degree related to information security and assurance.

Applications will be accepted immediately with a deadline set for March 31, 2003.  The Cisco Scholarships will be awarded at the annual CERIAS Spring Symposium held on the West Lafayette, IN, campus of Purdue University, April 8th and 9th, 2003.  Scholarship funds will be made available for use in the fall of the 2003-2004 academic year.
