CERIAS, Discovery Park, EPICS and other Purdue groups will be displaying exhibits at Indiana’s State Fair as part of the Indiana 2016 program.
In 2016, Indiana will celebrate its bicentennial. In anticipation of that event, Indiana First Lady Judy O’Bannon created the Indiana 2016 program, to “strengthen Indiana by educating about, inspiring and recognizing the active involvement of Hoosiers in their communities.” The Indiana 2016 Task Force will be focusing on initiatives in education, health and human services, arts and culture, and technology and community development.
Three Purdue University groups will be displaying exhibits at Indiana’s State Fair as a part of the Indiana 2016 initiative:Other Purdue projects to be shown include the Indiana Space Grant Consortium on August 10 and the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest on August 11.
