Biography

Dr. Wenhai Sun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Technology and a Faculty member affiliated with the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) of Purdue University. He holds two PhD degrees from the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech and the School of Telecommunications at Xidian University, respectively. His study covers various topics in cybersecurity research with the focus on security and privacy issues in networked information systems and cyber-physical systems, including cloud computing, blockchain, Internet of Things, computer/mobile systems, and wireless network. He publishes papers in premium networking and security conferences and prestigious journals, such as IEEE INFOCOM, ACM ASIACCS, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TPDS and IEEE TSC. He won the Distinguished Paper Award in ACM ASIACCS 2013. He also helps to organize or serves as the TPC member of high-quality international conferences in computer/network security. Dr. Sun is the member of IEEE and ACM.
