As we built an maintained the archive, our store of "lore" and problem-solving knowledge has increased. We Now recognise common problems with a variety of our tools, and know how to solve them immediately. We also have recognised common mistakes people make when dealing with the archive. These too are detailed below. Plus there are some limitations to our approach which we shall detail.
The key idea here is to motivate the reasons for building out tools and archive the way we did. Remember - many of these decisions may not seem optimal in hindsight, but at the time we were working in a new, dynamic and uncertain area.
