Abstract

So, you've connected to the Internet, got your WWW pages working, and your employees are developing the next killer app to go on-line. Nothing can spoil your foray onto the Information Highway, right?

Well, think again. The legal system is extending into the virtual realm as well. You may be subject to penalties under the Economic Espionage Act, stockholder lawsuits, or even arrested for copyright piracy. And what about legal threats to your own intellectual property and privacy?

In another of his wide-ranging talks, internationally-known attorney Bill Cook will present an update of what is happening with law and the Electronic Frontier.
